“For every person who can spot a phishing email, that’s another cybercriminal empty handed.”

About

What We Do.

InfoCipher offers a peek behind the curtain of cybercrime and goes beyond surface-level “click next" education. We invite you to join us as we showcase what cybercriminals don’t want you or your users to know - how to digitally defend yourself online.

Through our live simulations and training we delve into the dark underbelly of the internet, demonstrating the real-world reality of what a compromise can look like from the user and hacker perspective.

Why do cybercriminals send us emails, what does a cybercriminal do with the information they steal, where do they sell it, how can we detect attacks and what happens next?

How We Started

The concept behind InfoCipher originated in 2018, driven by the impact of a significant ransomware attack. Witnessing the chaos caused by a gang of cybercriminals who had encrypted the IT environment of a 3rd party, we recognized the critical need for improved cybersecurity measures.

It became evident that basic cybersecurity literacy was lacking in Australia, posing a significant problem for ordinary individuals. In response, we embarked on a mission to address this issue, leading to the establishment of InfoCipher.
